Born to Egyptian parents on 26th March 1991, Youssef was born in Queens, New York however he grew up in New Jersey. Ten years after emigrating from Egypt, his parents became managers of the Plaza Hotel in NYC. Ramy Youssef grew up in Rutherford and went to Rutherford High School. He then studied political science and economics at Rutgers University, Newark but dropped out before graduating to work at William Esper Studio.
