Conor McGregor taunts Floyd Mayweather over domestic abuse conviction by wearing CJ Watson Golden St
CONOR McGREGOR has incredibly taunted Floyd Mayweather over his domestic abuse conviction by wearing a CJ Watson basketball jersey.
The Irish UFC star is clearly aiming to gain a mental edge ahead of the pair's eagerly-anticipated boxing bout, by referencing Money's chequered past.
Mayweather was sentenced to 90 days in county jail in 2012 for battery against Josie Harris - the mother of his three children.
The boxer was charged after NBA player CJ Watson allegedly slept with Harris.
Mayweather was also ordered to complete 100-hours of community service and attend a 12-month domestic violence program, on top of paying a £2,000 fine.
On Sunday, another NBA player - the Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green - lashed out at McGregor for the stunt... but not for the reason you'd think.
The jersey worn by McGregor bore the No23 worn by Watson between 2008 and 2010.
In the present day, the ever-vocal Green is the Warriors current No23 - with the two-time NBA champion, an avid Mayweather supporter, furious.

Green posted the snap of McGregor in the jersey on Instagram with the caption: "We rocking with Floyd bro not you... take that off bruh @thenotoriousmma"
Not one to be spoken to like that, McGregor hit back by replying: "That's CJ Watson mate.
"I don't know who the f*** you are. No disrespect tho kid, keep hustling and stay in school.
"Now ask yourself why I'm rocking CJ when I don't know or give a f*** about basketball.
"I dribble heads off the floor. Not a ball. This is no game here kid."
Not content with the subtle use of wearing the jersey, McGregor even clearly points it out to Green, just to make sure he gets under Mayweather's skin.
The American boxer is yet to respond to the attempt to rattle him.
Green however, did have his say, replying: "Hahahaha that number won't be worn again when I'm finished with it clown!
"Gold medalist [sic], NBA champ, all star, DPOY [defensive player of the year] etc!!! Hahahaha stop it boy!
"Nate Diaz (Bay Area stand up) whooped you in your ring! Money May about to destroy you!!!
